IGCSE Scholarship

Norwich International School offer a British curriculum experience, coupled with traditional Thai values culminating in the IGCSE and AS/A Level qualifications.

Begins: Mid-August 2024

We are calling all students currently enrolled in Matayom 2 and Matayom 3.

Following the success of our 10th Anniversary IB Diploma Scholarships, we are pleased to announce a limited number of scholarships in our year 10 and year 11 IGCSE programmes.

We are looking for a group of 10-15 students of good moral and academic standing who hope to join our growing international school focusing on individuality, excellence and mindfulness!

Lead by the same group of dedicated professional teachers from our prospective Norwich IB programme, these students will have the chance to participate in the IGCSE section, successful students will then be eligible to upgrade onto an IB scholarship.

Successful scholarship applicants will display excellent English language capabilities, be willing to work diligently towards achieving strong academic results and be of sound character, acting as ambassadors for Norwich International School’s future students

A flat fee of only BHT 150,000 baht per academic year will apply for each year of the programme. Food and other costs are extra.

Supporting documentation should include:

  • A personal statement/letter (written in English) of the application explaining why the student believes they are deserving of the scholarship.
  • A 500-word essay (written in English) entitled “Can AI replace my favourite teacher?”

Students should be predicted or working at a level of 5 IGCSE C grades or above, or a recognised equivalent based on the Thai curriculum equivalent. A recent school report should be submitted

Following a successful application package has been received, students will be invited to an interview and assessment day to be held at Norwich International School

The IGCSE programme consists of English, Thai, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, & Physics, as well as option subjects such as art, music, business studies, physical education, computer science and Mandarin.
