Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Chris Quinn joins us after a successful period as Principal at an IB world school in Singapore, he led the school through multiple accreditations and the growth of the final year levels of the school ensuring that their first cohort graduated despite living through a pandemic. During his time the school expanded its physical footprint as well as a vast increase in student numbers, Chris attributes this to ensuring that students and parents all feel like engaged members of the community.
Chris is currently a member of accreditation teams for CIS, WASC and NEASC.
Amy is an enthusiastic and caring early childhood educator and leader, with a drive and passion for nurturing education, care and wellbeing of all children. With over 15 years experience working internationally in early childhood education, supporting children, families and practitioners throughout the magic and wonder of early years play, exploration and imagination.
Amy founded a sharing hearts foundation which supports children, schools and families in local areas of Northern Thailand. In 2021, she also created an Early Childhood Support Network, which is a platform for families, friends and early years teachers from all over the world to benefit of all our children and believe in providing each child with the best start in life.
Bryan Preston moved to Thailand after nearly 13 years working in a large inner-city school in Wolverhampton, UK, where he was born and raised. During his time there, he gained experience working across all year groups from Reception in Early Years to Year 6 in Primary.
Having completed his BA Humanities degree, specialising in modern history, he then undertook his teacher training through the ‘Schools Direct’ teacher training route. As Head of Primary, Bryan continues to help drive the development of our Primary Department ensuring students are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge as they grow older and move into our Secondary Department.
Richard Rogers is originally from Flint, North Wales, United Kingdom (which is near Chester, Wrexham, and Liverpool). He graduated from the prestigious Bangor University with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and a PGCE in Secondary Science Education. Later in his career, he furthered his studies in Mathematics with the Open University and FinTech with the University of Hong Kong. He holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has been teaching for over twenty years—initially at schools in the UK before moving to Thailand in 2008 to teach at several international schools in Bangkok.
Richard firmly believes that any child’s success can be positively engineered by a competent, passionate, and caring teacher. As Head of Secondary at Norwich International School, he is honoured to contribute to the school’s vibrant community and to play a meaningful role in shaping students’ learning experiences.
A graduate Environmental Scientist, Silvie Edwards has over 30 years of experience as an educator teaching both Chemistry and Biology to Advanced Level.
As a former Founding Principal of an IB Diploma School in China, she is a firm believer in the value of holistic education and intercultural awareness. As such, she has dedicated the last 10 years as IB Coordinator to leading schools to IB Diploma accreditation in China, Thailand and Singapore. Prior to that, she worked to help a growing British international school in Spain develop a bilingual Bachillerato and CIE A Level Programme.
With more than 20 years in senior management, Silvie has held several other leadership roles including, Vice Principal, Head of Secondary, Head of Sixth Form, Examinations Coordinator and was a Senior Boarding Mistress and teacher for 17 years in the private British Boarding Sector.
