Chris Quinn joins us after a successful period as Principal at an IB world school in Singapore, he led the school through multiple accreditations and the growth of the final year levels of the school ensuring that their first cohort graduated despite living through a pandemic. During his time the school expanded its physical footprint as well as a vast increase in student numbers, Chris attributes this to ensuring that students and parents all feel like engaged members of the community.
Chris has been an educator for over 16 years, holds a Masters in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University and an NPQH. Born and raised in the Northwest of England, Chris spent most of his formative years in that area before attending Gordonstoun School in Scotland as a scholarship student. During his time as a Duke of Edinburgh Gold participant, Chris had his first teaching experience in Tanzania, teaching English to local school children.
Upon completing his mathematics teacher training, Chris worked his way up through schools in the Manchester area, initially teaching mathematics to students aged 11 to 18, and later holding the positions of faculty team leader and vice principal of a newly opened school focused on STEM education.
In his first international role, Chris was appointed as Director of Teaching and Learning at St. Andrews International School in the Bahamas. During his time at St. Andrews International School, he taught IB diploma mathematics at the standard level and higher level. Chris moved on to become an MYP curriculum coordinator at an IB World School in California, also ensuring to bring the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award with him, to come full circle.
Chris is currently a member of accreditation teams for CIS, WASC and NEASC.
Head of Early Years & Primary

Bryan Preston moved to Thailand after nearly 13 years working in a large inner-city school in Wolverhampton, UK, where he was born and raised. During his time there, he gained experience working across all year groups from Reception in Early Years to Year 6 in Primary. As well as this, he also gained valuable experience in teaching children with English as a Second Language.
Having completed his BA Humanities degree, specialising in modern history, he then undertook his teacher training through the ‘Schools Direct’ teacher training route. As Head of Primary, Bryan continues to help drive the development of our Primary Department ensuring students are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge as they grow older and move into our Secondary Department, drawing on his own knowledge and experience of the English National Curriculum.
Bryan believes that the classroom should be a place to foster a sense of curiosity, creativity and collaboration allowing the students to flourish whilst providing them with the essential skills needed to equip them for the modern world.
He also believes that strong relationships between the school and parents are vital, and he looks forward to engaging with, and supporting the Norwich community as we work together to make Norwich one of the leading schools in Bangkok.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys travelling; particularly around Asia where he enjoys learning more about the cultures, traditions and histories of these countries. He is also a Wolverhampton Wanderers football fan and always tries to watch his team play even if it means waking up very early in the morning sometimes!

Jodi-Anne Finlay has been living and working in Thailand as an early years educator for the past seven years. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and later obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Master’s in Education.
Jodi-Anne is passionate about nurturing a lifelong love of learning in young children. She believes that each child is unique and deserves individual care, attention, and thoughtfully planned opportunities for academic and personal growth.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the Curiosity Approach and play-based learning, with a strong emphasis on recognising the child as capable, competent, and at the heart of the learning journey. Jodi-Anne believes in fostering environments that spark wonder, encourage exploration, and honour each child’s voice and individuality. She values open-ended resources, authentic experiences, and meaningful relationships as the foundation for deep, holistic learning. By creating spaces where children feel safe, seen, and empowered, she supports them in becoming confident, curious, and independent thinkers.

A graduate Environmental Scientist, Silvie Edwards has over 30 years of experience as an educator teaching both Chemistry and Biology to Advanced Level.
As a former Founding Principal of an IB Diploma School in China, she is a firm believer in the value of holistic education and intercultural awareness. As such, she has dedicated the last 10 years as IB Coordinator to leading schools to IB Diploma accreditation in China, Thailand and Singapore. Prior to that, she worked to help a growing British international school in Spain develop a bilingual Bachillerato and CIE A Level Programme.
With more than 20 years in senior management, Silvie has held several other leadership roles including, Vice Principal, Head of Secondary, Head of Sixth Form, Examinations Coordinator and was a Senior Boarding Mistress and teacher for 17 years in the private British Boarding Sector.

Leon Richards graduated from the University of Winchester with a combined honours degree in History and English Literature. As a dependable, positive, and adaptable individual, Leon began his journey as a teacher with his PGCE degree with Qualified Teaching Status at Reading University, one of the leading teacher training providers in the South of England.
Throughout his teaching career to date, Leon has held several positions in education, including pastoral leadership roles. As Head of House, he was able to redefine the house identity within his school, promoting and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment conducive to both personal growth and academic success. He has been central to the accomplishments of a number of English departments, promoting high academic achievement and organising whole school initiatives enabling students to demonstrate real world applications of English. Leon is excited to continue promoting educational success at Norwich ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
Professional Development Coordinator

Richard Rogers is originally from Flint, North Wales, United Kingdom (which is near Chester, Wrexham, and Liverpool). He graduated from the prestigious Bangor University with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and a PGCE in Secondary Science Education. Later in his career, he furthered his studies in Mathematics with the Open University and FinTech with the University of Hong Kong. He holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has been teaching for over twenty years—initially at schools in the UK before moving to Thailand in 2008 to teach at several international schools in Bangkok.
A globally acclaimed, award-winning author, Richard has written four books. He is regarded as a global authority on practical pedagogy, with a strong passion for teacher training.
Richard firmly believes that any child’s success can be positively engineered by a competent, passionate, and caring teacher.
