Explore our tailored British Curriculum, and how we made it effective to our children.
In August 2015 we formed our first formal Board of Governors, the Board consists of representatives of all the stakeholders in our school and its function is to lead the school forward it an open and fair fashion wherein all the views of these stakeholders can be aired and considered.
The Board is our big picture leadership team, all issues central to the development of Norwich are discussed here.
New members of our community are always welcome to contact us if they feel they have something to offer the Board in terms of experience in education or other fields.
Welcome to our Board of Governors page and to a school that has strived from its early beginnings to include all stakeholders in its governance. From our opening day, back in 2014, we quickly made creating an inclusive board a priority and since that date teachers and parents from all parts of the school have been represented and helped to guide the direction of our school.
In any new school that is growing rapidly there are always ups and downs and our board meetings have reflected this with some candid and contentious opinions sometimes being aired. This has been taken on board in the spirit of good faith and I am pleased to say we have made significant progress because of it.
Having received Authorisation from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in 2019, we are able to enter students for their IGCSE courses. We are now in the process of gaining Authorisation from the International Baccalaureate Organisation, to enable us to provide the IB Diploma Programme from August 2022.
We became full members of Council of International Schools (CIS) in 2020 and we are in the final stages of full international accreditation with Education Development Trust (EDT) from the United Kingdom.
